Jamie Farr (Bernard)

is best known as Klinger on the hit television series M*A*S*H. He has appeared in numerous made for television movies including the very first mini-series THE BLUE KNIGHT, which starred the late William Holden. His feature films include the blockbuster movie which introduced rock and roll to America with ROCK AROUND THE CLOCK by Bill Haley and The Comets; BLACKBOARD JUNGLE, another film, a biblical classic, THE GREATEST STORY EVER TOLD, a comedy classic, WHO'S MINDING THE MINT; and co-starring in both CANNONBALL RUN films.
He has appeared with Bob Hope, Red Skelton, Danny Kaye, Milton Berle, Lucille Ball, Andy Griffith and Dick Van Dyke to mention a few of the greats.

His theatre credits include Nathan Detroit in the Broadway Revival of GUYS AND DOLLS. Road Companies of LEND ME A TENOR, OKLAHOMA, DAMN YANKEES, A CHRISTMAS CAROL, OLIVER, MY FAIR LADY, THE ODD COUPLE and the one man show as the legendary comedian George Burns in SAY GOODNIGHT GRACIE. The Off-Broadway comedy, FLAMINGO COURT.

2009 marks his sixth appearance at the New Theatre in Kansas City starring in DON¹T DRESS FOR DINNER. This year he celebrates his fifty fifth year in show business. This marks the 26th anniversary of the Jamie Farr Owens Corning LPGA Golf Classic played in his hometown area of Toledo, Ohio. A large recreational park in Toledo is named after him.

He has received an Emmy Nomination, has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, has been named Entertainment Father of the Year, received The Ellis Island Medal of Honor Award, has two Honorary Doctorates from the University of Toledo and Owens Medical College of Ohio. He was the honorary national chairman of The American Red Cross. He is a member of The Motion Picture Academy.
