World renowned tenor “Il Stupendo,” is set to star in the gala fundraising production
of OTELLO. He doesn’t show up. The show, of course must go on and Assistant
Manager Max dons the costume and makeup required for the role. His disguise
succeeds admirably--until Il Stupendo shows up and heads for the stage. What
follows is a chain-reaction of mistaken identity, plot twists, double entendres, innuendoes,
and constant entrances and exits through many doors.
